First off kudos to the team that made SOH excellent job and only getting
better.
SOH got me back into Heat but then I remembered one of the reasons I
deleted it from my HD. I get really really bad FPS and then stuttering on
the first lap of every race. This is in NASCAR, IRL, DTM and now SOH. I'm
running Win 98SE with a 1Gig Athalon, 192 mg RAM GeForce II MX. After the
second lap it purrs along nicely. It starts right at the formation lap and
driver intro when it stutters badly and then for the whole of the first lap
before mysteriously rectifying its' self. I just ran SOH at Imola and RA
and it did it. But I remember specifically at Texas with IRL so I don't
think its just an Add-On track issue. I've patched up to 1.5.
TIA
PS. I downloaded CART Heat from Team Pepsi along time ago but it never
really worked. Now I see they've stopped development a while ago. Has any
one picked up the ball and if so what are the links and with all the adds
what shape is CART Heat in.
