GPL & Logitech MOMO - force feedback settings?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times before, but after using Google to search both web sites and Usenet I couldn't find much - certainly "GPL" creates many false hits having to do with Linux. I have my new Logitech MOMO wheel working with GPL now and I'd like to hear what people with the same wheel are using for their force feedback settings - both in core.ini and the force feedback settings in the wheel properties in the OS. I am using Win2K. One thing I notice - the FF settings in the wheel properties editor in the OS are not "sticky" - I set them, close the dialog box, and things work, but if I come back and open the FF settings in the wheel properties editor again, all the settings are cleared, so essentially it is not possible to see what the current settings are. Is anyone else having this problem? Many thanks for all the help.
