Hey guys Just upgraded my card from a voodoo3 to a geforce 2 mx400 and XP. I have it setup as dual boot and havent tried it in 98, but when i select my hardware and resolution in glide, it goes through and does its thing selecting textures and what not, but after a few secs it locks up. If i select d3d its fine, but i was told glide runs alot better and has a better quality image. Any help with this, i have the latest official xp drivers (it says 2.3.1.1 in properties). Any help would be appreciated! TIA Luke
I am assuming you mean Open GL? If so, the drivers that come with Win XP for the GeForce cards do not have Open GL support, you'll need to download drivers from Nvidia.com ( I am using the 23.11's), or beta drivers from another site, or the drivers that came with your MX400. Hmm, yes that one too.. i did actually mean opengl not glide :). The first thing i did when i got my card was download the 23.11 detonator drivers so that cant be the problem, so im going for a re-install. What sort of framerate/ graphical improvements are there with openGL? TIA Luke "Don Burnette" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:<Jmo68.220453$[email hidden]>...
