thanks to all who reply don
Won't kick ass at all mate. To carry on this vernacular,... it'll suck!.
With 2002, you'll be lucky to stay above 30FPS with reasonable detail on
your own on the track and I could see you dropping regularly into the teens.
The main problem is that graphics card. It's a 1 legged Geforce2 with half
the pipelines of the standard version. Change that to a GeForce 3 Ti200 or a
Radeon 8500 and you'll get more than double the framerates. It will be about
3-4 times the price of the mx you're considering though. The wholesale I
used to work at bought these mx cards in at 23 BTW.
IMHO, Spend the money and get a decent card. I'd also recommend a 1900+ XP
Athlon with an Epox 8KHA+ and 256Mb of good PC2100 DDR Ram, it would be
cheaper and faster than the Intel gear.
Hope this helps
