I've always wanted to build my own system. I just finished it. I jumped from a 350 Mhz AMD to a 1.3 gig AMD! And a GeForce II 400 MX card. What a difference! Now...a question. I've been seeing posts on here concerning D3D and OpenGL settings. But I neglected to save any of them. Stuff like V-sync off or on. And other settings that I just don't know what to adjust to away from the defaults. Any help? Thanks... Jim

You definitely want v-synch off, but you might try FSAA on & off & note the diff (quality & perf). Ditto ansiotropic filter. And mess with an nVidia tweak util like nVmax. CAREfully (you won't gain much w. o'clocking, but you could lose the card; stick to the gfx tweaks). --Steve Smith "Bob G" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3c60a8db$[email hidden]...
