question: the gplea eagle when viewed in replay always shows a yellow helmet with a design and a bare face below the goggles. all the other drivers have the masked face and normal helmets (IE driver preference) even when online, the preferred helmet of the driver shows when live, but if i look at the replay (at any time, immediately or later) the helmet and face are not what i would expect to see.... any idea why or better what file i need to change to eliminate this ? i've tried to delete plahelm or plaface, but then the track won't load. thanks for any help or hints! For the face, try copying face.mip from one of the other car folders and renaming it plaface.mip in your eagle folder. As for the helmet, do a net search for winmip2. You can use this to convert plahelm.mip to a bitmap. Then open it in a graphics program (mspaint etc) and draw your own. Then convert it back to a mip and put it back in the eagle folder. Alternatively there are lots of new helmet designs here http://home.freeuk.com/thommogpl/ along with a 'how to section'. Kev
Hi Bo, be carefull with that Eagle. When I installed it, GPL crashed me back to desktop as soon as other Eagles where in the online race. That was the reason why I missed the Zandvoort race. Jo "bb" <[email hidden]> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:[email hidden]...

The GPLEA Eagle is stunningly beautiful, so is the soon-to-be-released GPLEA Honda, but I'm affraid those cars are a bit too much to handle for GPL :( Andre
I've had no online problems with the Eagle except that other players using the Eagle have blank number decals, and so does Ginther in the AI. Alan "Andre Warringa" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Just remember that if you have back-to-desktop crashes, big chance it's the Eagle. I heard the same problems btw with those other beautiful 16bit car textures by *forgot his name*. Andre

I'm pretty sure version 2.1 of the eagle fixes that. If not, there's a fix for the v2.0 eagle in one of the thread at the racesimcentral forum. Do a search for gplea eagle. Kev
