Nascar 2K2 FPS

I would like someone to post their framerates and settings. I feel like I'm not getting enough out of my video card. I have a Geforce 2 GTS 32megs with an Athlon 800 and 512 mb ram. I'm thinking of getting the Gainward Ti200 card, would I see an increase in performance or would my cpu hold me back? Anybody with a Geoforce 2 and similiar cpu please post your FPSfor comparison. P4 1.4, GeForce 2 MX 400, 32 meg card, 384 megs of rambus. Running N2002 at 1280, everything maxed, reflections off. PIII 866 256megs of ram GeForce 2MX400 32 megs 12.90 drivers P343VX Asus board 1437 VIA chipset drivers from Entcity.com SB Platinum 1024X768 D3D Car-high Mirror-Med Trackside-Some World Medium Drawing Dist 44% 11 ahead 2 behind Anistropic off Shadows and reflections off ( reflections off gave a +5 fps) Sound: 8Max Daytona Night: Rear of field 45+fps before pace Never dropped below 33 in traffic in front of Grandstands. Ymmv. Tried the same set up on my other removeable drive and found that changing back to older sound drivers made a positive difference. Further, for my board at least, the VIA chipset drivers gave me an instant 5 fps increase although the Turbo AGP setting locked me up, and replaced the menu screen with the locked up image on restart of the sim until I uninstalled the chipset drivers, changed the vid card to OpenGL and then back to D3D in the sim and reinstalled the Via stuff in standard AGP mode. I increased my FPS drastically, by updating via drivers to 4.37 and nvidias to 23.12. I saw my FPS increase 100%. I am now getting b/w 35-70. Mostly it was the drivers, I had 21.83. Also what are your setings in the bios as far as video goes. I think I can get more. I tried 3dMark2201 and compared to a similiar system I am still behind. GeForce 2 Ultra using 2.3.1.1 Nvidia drivers for XP. Running 1024x768x32 and OpenGL is the fastest of the frame rates. At Daytona with 42 cars and high graphics I'm lucky if I see 20s while in traffic. CPU is a P4 1.7 Mhz on an Abit TH7II-RAID motherboard with 512MB RAM. In N4 I get MUCH BETTER frame rates. I'm waiting and getting the VisionTek GF4 Ti600 setup as soon as it releases. The GF2 Ultra pushes 31 million pixels per seconds, the GF4 MX400 series pushes I think 38 million. The Ti600 should do 138 million I believe. That and a CPU upgrade of course, and I should have a better experience. I can always remember when I do PC upgrades - whenever a new Papyrus sim comes out!
