Question for those using a Logitech Momo with XP

For those who use one of these wheels, I have a question about the settings under game controllers. When I go into game controllers, either through the control panel of XP, or the Wingman profiler menu(Device-->Game Controllers-->Properties), and choose settings, the settings are always default. The checkbox is always defaulted to combined pedals, and the FF is enabled at 100% for all three settings. I can change this, click close, and the apply button on the next window isn't available. I can also go directly back in to settings, and they are all set back to the defaults. Can someone verify whether my system is working the way everyone else's works, or do I have a problem with my system. Windows XP, Logitech Wingman software version 4.11c Thanks, Glen Pittman
Although I don't immediately have a solution for you, I can tell you that I too use that wheel (and 4.11c software) in WindowsXP without any problems. Are you logged in, either as Administrator, or with administrator rights by chance? I do have administrator rights on my account that I use. So when you go to the settings and change them in game controllers, does it save them? Meaning, next time you choose the properties for the Momo, then settings, you have the same changes showing that you had made previously? Thanks for any help. I believe I have this solved now. For some reason, some of the entries in my registry that control the game port settings and Logitech devices didn't have the right permissions applied. I removed and re-installed everything about the wheel, and received a message about unable to write to a registry key. I changed the permissions, and now all seems to be well. Hope this helps someone else who may be having these problems, but as usual, I am probably the only one...<G> Glen Pittman "Glen Pittman" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3c80f9d6$[email hidden]... > I do have administrator rights on my account that I use. > > So when you go to the settings and change them in game controllers, doesit > save them?
