Just installed GP3 (not GP3-2000) on my newly upgraded PC to see how it
runs. It seems to run just fine graphically, but I only get sounds of
my own car, not the AI cars. I know that's how GP3 came out of the box,
but I seem to recall that there was a patch that enabled AI carsounds.
I've installed all the patches I have -- GP3 Update and GPxPatch.exe (I
believe that it's version 1.13), but I still don't get the AI sounds.
Can anyone help me out with this?

gpxpatch makes the sounds. if you have it installed, you should hear the
sounds, maybe get a newer version. that version number v1.13 you mentioned
is likely the version (the only one version) of the gp3 update ;)

The GPxPatch should provide the AI car sounds. The latest version is
2.10, and can be got at

Hope this helps. GP3 is currently uninstalled on my machine, but it
