I don't know that much about NASCAR so I'll accept any criticism, but
doesn't it seem like Andy Houston is being F****d up the A**?
How so?

Well he seems like a good guy his dad was a good guy. He does well in
Craftsmen Truck Series in 2000. (He was in the hunt I can't remember where
he ended up). He's brought up to WC by PPI for the McDonald's car, touted
as the next big thing. Then PPI was some problems, McDonald's bails, PPI
doesn't support him and then dumps him without even a full year. Then he
gets the Excedrian ride in BGN is in the top ten in points. Reggie Jackson
signs on puts his arm around him and sez how great he is. Then he ends up
24th (I think) in Vegas and they dump him after three races.
I guess it was that I saw him on Inside NASCAR on Monday night being given
the gears by Mikey et al, and the next morning I see on SpeedVisoins web
site he's been fired. Racing is a team thing and it takes alot to make it
gel. It just seems like firing drivers after three races is counter
productive.
Anyway that's just my two cents (Canadian, worth 1.6 cents in the real
world)

Sorry to disappoint you, but each one of those Canadian pennies is worth
about 0.6 US cents, which means your two cents Canadian is actually worth
only 1.2 cents in the "real world" ;)
(I won't be ordering from US web sites for a while or taking a US vacation
for a while that's for sure...)
Yes, that's true. Unfortunately, just the way things are these days.
Sponsors expect results............now. Realistic or not, that's what they
think unfortunately.
When a three-time champion like Cale Yarborough has to fold his team
because he can't get a sponsor, and Richard Petty has to hire Buckshot Jones
only because he came with a sponsor, that says it all :(
Some great drivers not racing Busch this year, mainly because they're
considered to old and/or not marketable enough........Elton Sawyer and Tim
Fedewa come to mind.
It stinks, more for the fans than anyone else IMO. In terms of the
drivers, it's a chance to make more money than ever before, so it comes with
a price.
