Hi, I just bought NASCAR Racing 2002 season and I'm having trouble running it. It runs like a slide show. I tried decreasing the resolution and turning down all options and there is no change. This leads me to believe there is some other problem besides my old system. Shouldn't I a least see some improvement? Even at 640X480X16 and all options at the lowest setting it is still a slide show. The Demo ran fine. My system is a Pentium III 600MHZ Windows XP home edition GeForce 2 MX 400 64mb 256mb Ram Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
run 10 cars or less and get a new cpu. I have an AMD XP 1800+ and still can't run with all the graphics maxed out...New titles need new hardware unfortunately. dave henrie "Dan" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:S9Bh8.118203$[email hidden]...

I run it on my P III 500 with the same video card. I run 1024x768x16bit colors under OpenGL. For replays I run everything maxed, for online play I run low car detail, medium mirrors, low world detail, turn off relections and anisotropic filtering and still never drop below 30fps. Running 2183 drivers. Sure I'd like to run more detail, but its actually pretty good on-line that way. -- Biz "Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and,......things with molecular structures,....and the....." - Ash Dan <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:S9Bh8.118203$[email hidden]... > Hi, > > I just bought NASCAR Racing 2002 season and I'm having trouble running it. > It runs like a slide show. I used to gain about 10fps per track when I had N4...online vs offline with lots of ai. And, each track is different, so try all the tracks til you find some that give you better fps. dh
Turn sounds down to eight. David G Fisher "Dan" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:S9Bh8.118203$[email hidden]...
