Hey guys.... Just installed RT tonight....was looking forward to running it on the same rig I run N2K2. But???? I run the mini....best I can do is a 2:51 (on the demo Russia stage). I run the mini on the other computer system with the RT demo still on it.....and get 2:29......go back to the USA RT fresh install.....get 2:53. Something's wrong. Both systems are running the same controller....except the N2K2 system has a RS Shifter.....but I'm running in automatic anyway. Otherwise, the systems are nearly identical (same video cards, mobo, sound cards, etc.). Next.....does the AL RS shifter get supported in RT? The controller config sees it....but can't figure out how to set it. Will tire quickly of running in automatic. Tom
Hi, Yes the controller config is a bit of a bi*** I sat pressing and deleting for a good ten minutes or so, sorry I cant remember how I did it...but if you stay patient and mess with it for a few minutes I'm sure it will come....Good Luck. leesee "Tom Pabst" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:yxZh8.1648$q2.669@sccrnsc01...

Yeah, Tom. The shifter is supported in RT. From what I recall, just load the shifter software first, set RT for manual shifting, and it should work. Configuring split-axis pedals was a lot tougher than getting the shifter to work..... Tom Pabst wrote:

What was the problem with split axis pedals in Rally Trophy? I just went to the controller config file, and assigned each axis. I think the 3 axis are called "Throttle, X, Y" or something, not too sure. Mike http://mikebeauchamp.com "BRH @attbi.com>" <"bertrh<no-spam> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Yeah, Tom. BugBear acknowledged that there was a "timing bug" in the demo. The 2:29 time is untrustworthy :0( "Tom Pabst" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:yxZh8.1648$q2.669@sccrnsc01...
