I finally installed F1 2001 and it worked perfectly. I then installed both patches, then the 1.0.7.6 no-cd patch without any problems. I added the 2001 cars, changed the Brake Pressure Range, and LOD multiplyer, and I was still able to use test, quick race, and GP without any problems. But when I installed the 2002 cars and drivers including the Toyota team I was only able to run in Test mode. Quick race and GP causes the sim to crash to my desktop everytime. I made sure I increased the max number of cars to 24, removed the Prost team folder, but it still crashes. I'm at my wits end. Does anyone know what I did wrong? I've found that adding 2002 updates can cause problems. Even individual cars. If you installed the 2002 all in one update that came out the other day and want to get back to the original 2001 cars, then just get the original 'season01' vehicles folder and also the 'options' folder from your cd, and replace your current (2002) ones. You may also have to replace the game.qbd file in your 'season01' folder. Everything should be back to normal and work fine. You'll either have to go back and re-edit your f1car.gen file to get back your lod settings, or simply save it before you delete the 2002 'vehicles' folder and put it back in later.
