Yep, we're going to do a video replay contest. How do you get to try to win the prize? Well, start cutting those great replays and edit them into .avi, wmv or mpg format! Add music! First prize will be a copy of the Race Car Engineering book, as well as your choice of N2002 or F1-2001 racing sims. Deadline for contest entries is April 15, 2002. Movies may come from ANY racing sim of your choice. Movies will be judged according to: Editing quality - how well you transition each new clip from one to another, make them fit with any music that is added Clip choice - how decent the racing shots are in each clip...note, we don't want to see all crashes, if you've got some great racing shots, smooth moves, great saves...those are all good candidates for the movie. Music choice - how well the songs fit in with the movie that you've done, you can do whatever you want, we don't care if you use anything from classical to alternative rock, just how well the music fits with the movie. Required pieces: Insure that your name is included in the credits, along with the song title and artist. Try to keep the replay movie 50 megs or less. If you need a place to upload a movie, let us know so that we can provide a place (you will most likely need an ftp program to upload). Ahh...I should add that to submit entries, either post in this forum http://www.theuspits.com/psmag/ubb//Forum2/HTML/000007.html , or else email the [email hidden] address. Most of all, have fun and enjoy! We will! Cheers! ------------------ jan kohl =www.theuspits.com= racing realism for the pc
