theres a replay contest at racesimcentral that says use any game, but are
nascar and gpl the only ones you can record from?
Dirt Track Racing - Sprint Cars has a replay editor that will export to AVI.
But the Eye Candy is a bit lack luster.

There is automated third-party software that will convert sequences of
screenshots into movies with an appropriate codec.
