IIRC, in N4, it was possible to "cheat" with random weather, by leaving
and then re-entering a race before it started. I seem to remember a thread
here saying that your weather would then be different than everyone elses.
Recently, I've seen a couple guys on Sierra doing the leaving/re-entering
scene before fixed weather races. Been assuming it's for conn, etc.
reasons, however, has me wondering, for various reasons.
Anybody seen any "cheat" reports that would tie to doing this in N2002?

That was addressed in N4's 1.3 patch, and shouldn't be an issue in
NR2002.
