There is a game I had downloaded which I lost after last upgrade. My son
reminded me how fun it was - but now I can't find it.
Relatively small download; you are required to "build a bridge" across a
river from a small list of ingredients within a budget. To confirm it works,
a train does 3 return passes before you are allowed to go to the next level.
Basic graphics but it worked.
Any pointers?
Tony
Have you ever heard of a search engine ?

Hi Phil
I did change my search from "bridge game" and found a bit more than the
card game.
Pontifex was what I was looking for.
thanks for your help

yep - google. Tried "bridge game" then "bridge game -card"
Inundated by card game tips so gave in and came here
Should have used the post title cos that gave what i wanted as hit 1
Tony
I can imagine that "bridge game" would come up with 500000000 hits for
the cards version you're not interested in.
This is what you're after, the unofficial homepage.

Of course the true fun with this game is to think outside of the box. Some
of the "best" bridges in our engineering group here were either wildly
deformable, had certain non-linearities to their behaviour (like columns
which started dangling in the air and then contacted the ground as the train
moved) or even jumping trains.
