Is it me or do the graphics in F12001 look alot better from the chase cam views than they do in cockpit? I have never been that impressed with f12001 graphics, but I have seen some really great screen shots. After loading the ALMS addon I switched to the chase cam to take a look at the cars and there was a big differeance in the look of the game. Is there a setting some where for Ansi-Filtering that I need to turn on? MadDAWG

GP3's cockpit looks better but it's only visible from one view (sprite based). F1 2001's cockpit is fully 3D and the steering wheel, arms etc. are fully visible from any position. If you really want to see eye candy, watch the game from the TV Cockpit view. -- Damien Smith [email hidden] ICQ: 77028579 F1 2001 rank: -0.664
Well its not that big of a deal. As long as its the same all around then its not something wrong with my system. Thats all I really care about. MadDAWG

There are different LOD multipliers depending on the view you use. The cockpit uses a multiplier of 1, however the swingman view has a multiplier of 2 which I'm assuming means there is increased detail visible (?). I suspect this is because the system doesn't need to render as much of the vehicle in that view, so they can get away with more detail without a FPS hit. Also, In the FIA GT Mod, with the cockpit view you are looking through the textured windscreen which is not completely transparent. It is slightly dirty/foggy. This de-saturates the colours in the track and environment textures somewhat. Neil. "MadDAWG" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Well its not that big of a deal.
