Just wondering if anyone has found a fix for the axis probs in F1 2001 / FIA GT MOD that does NOT involve DXtweak or going to combined axis? I found more problems in the GT Mod with combined axis than split. In fact it seemed to be the opposite problem - instead of all the pedal range being in the second half of the travel, I was only getting half the range from the whole travel. I just couldn't slow down for the corners. Back to split axis and I was back in business. This MOD is fantastic - even with the axis probs. A bit more throttle control might help me to contain the wayward tails of these beasts a little better. System: Guillemotte Ferrari FFB Wheel Athlon 700 GeForce 2MX 400 256 MB RAM Windows ME etc.
I have used the dxtweek2 util and it seems to have worked fine...I'm assuming you are using XP or 2k? Win98se here. dave henrie "Krunch" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:a906po$c1u$[email hidden]... > > Just wondering if anyone has found a fix for the axis probs in F1 2001 /FIA > GT MOD that does NOT involve DXtweak or going to combined axis? > > I found more problems in the GT Mod with combined axis than split. Using Win ME. I'm going to try the CTFJ util mentioned elswhere and see what I can do. I might have to resort to DXtweak2 if it's no go. I wish ISI would fix the problem in the game code though - its a really silly bug. Neil. "Dave Henrie" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:rtNs8.247805$702.45241@sccrnsc02...
