got the new patch? let us know more about your system, how much memory, cpu
speed etc.

Make sure anti - aliasing and v-sync are off and run it in OpenGL and that
should improve your frame rates. I also suggest you download the NVMax(I
think that is the correct name) or GeForce Tweaker to optimize frame rates.

Make sure you have some of the latest drivers for that GF4Ti and WinXP Pro.
Also make sure that all your AGP stuff in your bios is optimized (AGP
Aperture should be 64, 128 or 256, whichever works best for you) (AGP 4X
should be enabled).
The main bottlenck I see in your system is the processor at this point. The
rule of thumb is to upgrade when processors are out that are at least twice
the clock speed. Seeing as how 1.8, 2.0+ Ghz CPUs are out, sadly that means
that 733Mhz CPU is *old and slow* now, sorry.
A lot also may depend on how much you have turned on within the sim in the
graphics settings. You should definitely only run in 16bit color, even with
a GF4 given your CPU bottleneck. Make sure your 'sounds heard' is cranked
down to the minimum (8 I think). I'm also sure I would not try to run FSAA
with that slow a CPU, even if your video should/can run well with it
activated. Also, the fastest API to use for most folks is OpenGL. Try both
it and the D3D and see if one makes a difference.
Turning off reflections should give you a good 10fps jump.

certain versions of the drivers perform better under win98 and others seem
better suited to XP.
Anybody have a suggestion for drivers and XP?
I agree with others, your cpu is the slowest part of your system now, and
the GPL family(which includes N4 and N2002) get almost as much performance
from the cpu as the vidcard.
Make sure as many background tasks as possible are disabled. XP has a few
extra things going on that could be eating into your CPU cycles...I don't
know if enditall2 works with XP but I'd give it a try.

thanks for your responces,,but what i did is unistalled nascar 2002,and
reinstall nascar 2002,and install the patch..and turn off a few things.
now the framerates are up to 50 to 60
