Hi Guys....
I've posted some pics from the Winston Cup "Testing" at Sears Point -
conducted Tuesday and Wednesday of this week at the following URL:
http://www.pabst-racing.com/Winstoncuptesting2002/index.html
FYI, the drivers present for the two-day testing session were: Ricky Rudd,
Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth and Ron Fellows
(driving for Nemechek). Scott Pruett was present, acting as a driving coach
for Ryan Newman. There's further information on the WC testing session at
the Sears Point website.
We had one of our simulators setup at the front of the "press conference"
room (in the Media Center) for selected members of the press to drive. They
were pretty amazed just how hard it was to drive a Winston Cup racecar
around Sears Point. Two of them had prior racing experience...and they
still struggled with the simulated WC car at Sears.
Regards,
Tom

Thanks for sharing Tom, cool.
Nicole really shouldn't wear those short T-shirts though.
Andre
Lol....Andre. Actually, the t-shirt was not short. Its just that most of
the material is taken up by "what's up top." The pic doesn't show that very
well....thank goodness! But, the WC crew members didn't miss it!
....lol....

Well.. the guys on the pic really seem more interested in the car :)

ofcourse.

Keep it up and some day those real life drivers will wanna sit in front of
the simulated thing, instead of taking to the track right outside ;)

think its a reasonable extrapolation from where we are today.....that
someday, they'll use the simulator to make the very precious "real track"
seat time....more efficiently used. That is one of our goals, at least.
