When do you guys race? What do I need to do to join the race?
Brian Oster
How to join the RASCAR races
Brian Oster and others asked how to join the RASCAR races. They were told the races run Saturdays at 4pm Eastern on EldredP's 'epickett' server with the password 'ras', and were directed to the roster page and the RaceSimCentral forum for uploading car files. The only rule was to race cleanly.
Automated summary.

Thanks. Do you require the upload of a car file, reserve car number,
or any thing like that? Is there a rules sheet I should read or is it
pretty much the standard league type rules?

That's alright... I haven't had time to copy the paint scheme I use to a new
car for use in it either. <g>

There is a roster page. Pick any car number that's not already listed,
and unless you have a REAL good reason, I would personally appreciate it
if you kept it to two digits.
Oh yeah, put car numbers on the doors and on the passenger side
taillight so your car is easy to identify on the track.

That's the American passenger side....so if you are looking at the back of
the car, like you were drafting behind it, the number should be near the
right side tail-light decal. Check out any of the real cup cars to see
how...

Well I help out here, but I don't do the Rascar races...I did, got in on
the ground floor when they started even....but for "SOME" reason, after
running a couple of weeks with me...they all decided Saturdays would be
better...(of course they all KNEW I worked most Saturdays...) So go
figure...
btw...this is my normal Saturday off, once every 5 weeks, and since I'm on
the overtime list, I was called in...leaving in just a few minutes....have
fun lads.!
