GPLStat v1.10 is now out, with the following "exciting" (ahem) new
features:
* No longer crashes when user attempts to load invalid player.ini file.
* Three-tier colouring to indicate times inside 107%.
* Proper formatting of times to 2 d.p. (eg 1:30.20 rather than 1:30.2).
* Stay On Top mode.
* Corrected readme errors (Verdana "non-proportional" - duh!).
* GPLStat's very own icon! :-)
* Released under GNU General Public License, so...
* ...Delphi source included (very unoptimised...).
It now comes to about 244K, and can be obtained from the freeware page
at the GPL Scrapyard:

Of course, the fact that all this has taken less than 48 hours might
make some think that this is what should have been released in the
first place. You might very well think that... I couldn't possibly
comment <g>.

We-ell... much what it did when I posted "GPLStat v1.00 released",
including a full description, two days ago, and much what is described
on the very URL I gave (in any case, it's under 250K - why don't you
d/l it and have a look?) <g>. But here we are anyway:
"GPLStat is designed to provide a quick and simple method of analysing
your laptimes on the 11 original circuits that count towards your
GPLRank handicap rating. The current version, v1.10, has the following
features:
Easy side-by-side comparison of your times with the Papyrus benchmarks.
Will process any valid player.ini file - no need for any manual data
entry.
Automatic checking of player.ini for validity (fixes nasty bug in
v1.00).
+/- rating and percentage rating for each circuit, plus aggregate.
Displays GPLRank, PercentageRank, RelativeRank (all tracks equal) and
Consistency Rating.
Simple colour-coded display, including 107% threshold.
Stay On Top mode to stop GPLStat being lost behind other windows."
It's nothing very exciting, and in fact it was originally written just
for me, but it doesn't crash every five seconds any more, so I can't
see any harm in letting other people fiddle with it.
