...with full visual quality with everything maxed out. Thanks for doing the
compression for OpenGL, Papy. On my GeForce system there is no comparison:
OpenGL is vastly faster than D3D.

Your mouse has moved. Windows must be restarted for the change
to take effect. Reboot now?

I'll have to give OpenGL a shot, cause the patch sure crippled my d3d
framerate wise - and no, it did not re-enable vsynch. I don't understand
what they might have done to cause this , at least from the readme.
Lost about 10-15 fps after the patch, shame as I really liked the quality in
d3d..

That's because they did something to mess up the D3D.
David G Fisher
I seen no difference in the OpenGL since the patch, if anything it may have
dropped a bit actually.

Well I had to do the uninstall-fresh install-patch thing, but after that it
does run great and look a lot better.
MadDAWG
Maybe that's what I need to do as well is a fresh install. Did you see a
big difference in FPS with the patch running under OpenGL?

Yes I did. I did a pre/post patch test and sitting at the back of the pack
at Tally I gained about 8-10fps. The looks of the game are much improved. I
thought I was runnig a low enough screen res to keep it from mipping down
but I must have been wrong.
MadDAWG
I find that my frame rates in D3D are the same as before, as long as I
completely turn off Anisotropic filtering. With that turned on at anything
above level 1, the frame rate drops too much for my liking.
