Best Online Sim

Hi Guys: I wanted to give a little info so U can avoid some mistakes i recently made. First, if i were to pick one game that rocks for free and quality multiplayer support with great graphics and tweaks, it is Porsche Unleashed. Two, STAY AWAY FROM MOTOR CITY ONLINE!!!! NFS5 i guess, but what a bummer. It is a total downgrade for PU. Graphics suck, and then $10/month for online play. How could they have the nerve to ask for that money when this game is poorer quality than its predecessor, and also NFS4(PU) is still available for free multiplay? Not only a poor business move, but also pure lunacy. I threw mine in the trash can after the message to pay came on after a free "trial" month. Third, Moto Racer 3 is so and so. If you plan on online multiplay on GameSpy, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE PATCH. Yes, the patch actually makes things worse, and crashes the game (not one of the stablest games to begin with) a lot more. Just fo to their site, click forum and see the many unhappy postings there. I play without the patch just fine. I hate the endless download times though. I would say that this game is also a step back from the Moto Racer tradition, although i can add that one is rewarded with nice graphics at the end of endless download times :)(and i have the Dell with 64mb NVidia graphics). Anyway, i hope that i made myself clear without sounding too opinionated. Please feel free to disagree with me, i would appreciate your input on all this. Bob

<picky> NFS Porsche Unleashed is actually NFS5, not 4. 4 was "High Stakes", 3 was "Hot Pursuit", 2 was, well "2". </picky>

Bob, I think you need to visit http://www.vroc.net :) GPL is the best - and if you like Nascar - Nascar 2002! 20 players online (GPL) and 43(??) for nascar.....awesome racing which can be practically lag free with a good server!
