What mod/game would you use to best simulate running laps at Indy? the cart mod for n3? irl mod for Nascar Heat? Or something else? I think last year I tried that cart mod for F1 CS 2000 or something. Don't make me resort to ABC's Road to Indy that I have around here somewhere!

To the best of my knowledge, none fo the last CART/open wheel sims had IMS, so I guess your only choice is N3 with the ICR2 conversion, but of course thats just an Indy looking car running around the Nascar physics... -- Biz "Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and,......things with molecular structures,....and the....." - Ash doubleu <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:xgED8.8295$[email hidden]... > sorry, IRL (or any open-wheel I guess) > > "Biz" <[email hidden]> wrote in message > news:zvDD8.17890$[email hidden]... > > Best simulate for what type of car? F1-2000 and F1-2001 has the grand prix track at indy.... and the old "Indianapolis 500" game... it was pretty cool. -- -- "Biz" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:fiGD8.22666$[email hidden]... > To the best of my knowledge, none fo the last CART/open wheel sims had IMS, so I guess your only > choice is N3 with the ICR2 conversion, but of course thats just an Indy looking car running around > the Nascar physics... > -- > Biz > > "Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand > alloys and compositions and,......things with molecular structures,....and > the....." - Ash > > > doubleu <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:xgED8.8295$[email hidden]... > > sorry, IRL (or any open-wheel I guess) > > > > "Biz" <[email hidden]> wrote in message > > news:zvDD8.17890$[email hidden]... > > > Best simulate for what type of car? And I believe there's a hack for F1 2001 that allows you to run the oval counter-clockwise, as the Indycars do. I'm not sure of the url for it, and I have no idea if it includes Ai to run under this configuration. But the original post did specify he wanted to "run laps at Indy". How about the N3 converted track for GPL? It's open wheel, it's Indy, it's hard as hell. It's also pretty cool...check it out. Gary
