Hi folks,
I spent a couple of hours today working on N2002Rank. No
handicaps yet (any suggestions?), just bare-bones best time
listings. you can use your gplrank account to upload your
playrecs.ini file. Feel free to create a new gplrank account if
you don't have one yet.
N2002Rank Alpha 0.01 is available here:
http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/n2k2_index.html
for now the only tracks included are those provided with the
game and those converted by Dave Nooans great track converter
for N4 / N2002.
Enjoy & bye for now,
uwe

Nice one, thanks Uwe.
How lame am I? *grin*
I actually saved a screenshot of me in the Number 1 position, because I KNOW
that it's a position I'll never have again in N2002Rank
That's right, Super-Lame ;)

on another note, get back to me in a while. The screenshot must
show me in number TWO position, right? I guess it will be a
collectors item in no time ;-)

The track lessons included with the game all have example laps which can
be extracted as individual replays in the replay theater. Once
extracted you can easily determine what the lap time was. That would
allow you to build a set of benchmark times for N2002. A bit of work,
but it seems like the most logical way to do it.

Martins N2002 Replay Analyser should make easy work of that, hope it's
coming along well, maybe he even has it at a stage where he could extract
all the best times for you Uwe even if it's not ready yet, I know it can't
come soon enough for me, and *my* money is waiting for you Martin :)

Ive uploaded my file but some tracks dont seem to have me listed there where

racing?
Thanks heaps for the big effort of getting this up and going!]

My mistake, forgot that i deleted my old player without saving the records,
so looks like they are lost :(
Thanks!

Hi Luke,
sorry to hear that. To answer your original question: n2002rank
currently saves the the "best_lap_ALL" records found in
playrecs.ini. I plan to add support for qualifying and race
results at a later date.
On another note, last night I added back2back functionality to
N2002Rank as found in gplrank and rtrank.
Cheers & enjoy the ranks,
uwe

Uwe, will you be filtering out dodgy looking lap times? Just checked at
Michigan and someone's done a 32.5. Is that possible?

I am not sure how you can filter out arcade laps.

I can remove the time if you think it's a warp. I'll check it
out in a second.
Cheers & thanks for pointing out,
