Hi!
my momo was working fine for the week or so I've had it,
then I shut it off one night, came back in the morning,
and it was totally dead.
I plug in the big connector to the side of the wheel,
and neither led lights up, so I'm assuming theres no power
getting through.
I checked the transformer with a meter, thats ok, so the
problem must be in the wheel itself.
cable-wiggling did not help either.
anyone else had this?
In article <[email hidden]>,
[email hidden] says...
I just powered it up again to test it, and this time,
I had a centering force, but both led's were still off,
and windows would not recognize that it was connected.
I'm wondering if I may have blown something, because I leave
it plugged into the mains, and just plug the big connector into
the wheel when I want to use it, then take it out when I finished
with it.
hmmm....

big plug. I just move the wheel to the side when I'm not using it.
If you feel the need to unplug it, you'd be better off unplugging it
from the USB port, since they're designed to be unplugged while the
power is on...

I bought mine back in Nov. and suddenly
had some gear slippage inside the wheel. An hour later the gears were
completely shot, giving no FF effect but just making a plastic-on-plastic
grinding sound. I called Logi and they just asked where they should ship
the new one. I even get to keep the old one for spare parts!
