For those of you without broadband etc. (oh yeah - the rest of you guys can watch it too if you like:-) I've composed a replay of all the "highlights" from our race at Dover... using the serevers replay as base... (all cars visible etc.) Have a look at it and see / *learn* / think /comment etc etc. Also Feedback on this "project" would be apreichiated as this is the first time I make one of these things... If you guys like this - I might be tricked into making one from each or our future races. The edited replay itself is 10+ minutes long... "packed with action"! :-) The replay is packed with WinAce 'because that provided the smallest package... Unpack into replay directory. (goto www.winace.com if you need that program to unpack it.) I would have made it self extracting but I couldnt figure out how... Lastly, the replay: http://home.online.no/~igplc/Rascar_dover_highlights.ace (8,1 mb) -- ed_
Thanks for the laugh. I honestly loaded up this replay thinking it was going to be a true *highlight* film of good driving. :-) Something like this might encourage people to be a little more careful each week so they don't end up on Ed's blooper reel. :-) David G Fisher "Ed Solheim" <edwins[ REMOVE ]@[ THIS ].no> wrote in message news:3z6M8.253$[email hidden]... > For those of you without broadband etc. (oh yeah - the rest of you guyscan

I have been ragging on Papyrus lately for one thing or another, but features like the Relplay Theatre are clearly a big bonus for us simmers. Well done Ed, and thankyou Papy for such a tool. About the only thing you might want to consider, IF you want to make these learning experiences...would be to more closely examine those touches that made big wrecks. Looks like several times a car on the outside got touched and wrecked by another car on the inside groove. Perhaps showing a few extra camera angles of the beginning of those wrecks might make folks more aware of the risk they take when they poke their nose in. Loved your comments btw....I'd call Sierra if I were you and protest that 4th place finish... dave henrie Viva Paul Tracey, winner of two races in a row! lol > > Also Feedback on this "project" would be apreichiated as this is the first > time I make one of these things... It probably wasn't as much fun being in it as it has been just watching it but keep'em coming It would make a great weekly feature (download) ; Big Ed's Weekly RAS Lo Lite Reel. ;o) Elrikk PS. I'm not really that afraid of causing an incident but rather have been sitting out because I'm waiting for Thrustmaster to get me my 2nd replacement Moden 360 wheel. The first 2 lasted about 2 weeks each.
I know my plowing thru the crowd on a caution lap is prolly made the highlights. :( "Ed Solheim" <edwins[ REMOVE ]@[ THIS ].no> wrote in message news:3z6M8.253$[email hidden]... > For those of you without broadband etc. (oh yeah - the rest of you guyscan
