I just got my Saitek R440 force feedback wheel today. After installing it
on my XP Pro system (P4 1.7 gig, memory 512 and an nvidia gforce 2 mx400)
and finding all the right drivers on the Saitek web site for XP I thought I
was ready to sped away with my F1 2001 game. It took a bit to configure my
video and now all I need to do is figure out why the accelerator and brake
are backwards. When I go through the Saitek control panel the accelerator
(Z) shows on the right and the brake (Y) is on the left. However, when
driving F1 2001 they are reversed. I've gone through every setting in F1
and it shows the R440 as the controller. I've never used a wheel system
before so what am I missing.
