Hi.I have a question for those who have tried GP4:Is the turn eue-rouge
been modelled correctly? In GP3 you can take it flat out with no wings, and
there is no way in hell you can do that.I have seen it in real life, and how
it was modelled in GP2 was alot better than GP3:(
Thnx in advance:)
Eau Rouge is frightening realistic in GP4. It's very, very fast, and you can take it flat, but only because the default setup is perfect for the track. It's great in that as soon as you hit the
uphill, all you see is sky, just like all the F1 drivers talk about. Fantastic!

with 1:1 wings.

Just like they do in real life!
Andre
Yeah right!Remember Villeneuve?Just bought GP4,and I'll say this (Just
played monza):It is a real improvement over GP3.You can drive much more
intuitive, and the gfx is fantastic on this track (Not others mind you).
I am happy:)Others?

One thing that makes me happy about GP4 is it works properly in XP (anybody
know how it works in W2K btw?). And even though I'm not by far impressed by
the graphics, they run in medium/high in 25fps. Good enuff for me.
Disappointment: It's easier than GP3. That "can drive intuitive" thing you
mention seems to have taken on a greater allowance for errors. Or GP3 just
didn't suit me. Either way, in GP3 I was winning semi-pro/pro depending on
track. In GP4 so far I'm very competitive at ACE after less than 2 hours
playing. Granted, I haven't tried a whole bunch of tracks yet, but it
doesn't bode well for having a competitive computer to compete against in
the long run.
