Is my install fubared or do the FIA GT V.3 mod tracks take a long time to load? PIII933, 512MB, ATA100, 7200rpm, ATi 7500, XP. Dale.

F1 2001 Canada - 1:10 from acccepting the track to the menu screen F1 2001 FIA Canada - 1:33 Dale.
I find the FIAGT mod takes the same amount of time as F1 for test days but when you've got a full grid of 30 in a quick race, it takes quite a while to load. Lots of textures I guess. I don't mind slow loading when a game looks that nice... : )

Though I get frustrated after I abort a quick race, hit the wrong button and have to reload the track :) That said... I've lost my F1 2001 manual. What's the easiest was to abort a race and get back to the starting grid without reloading the track? I can do it sometimes by hitting random keys... Dale.
