...and I realized how I missed racing my virtual stock car there. The uphill
and downhill aspects of the oval short track was plain genius, IMO. I really
wish some talented person out there would recreate the track for N2002. It
would be fun to race there again. :)
Off the topic, I recently picked up some Koss headphones to use with N2002.
After adjusting the sound volumes, switching 3D sound on, downloading the
modded roof cam sounds (from internal), and finally the great spotter sounds
package, I was in shock. With the beautiful graphics and sound, I feel even
more like I'm at the track. Absolutely great work from the fans of this
game.

LOL. I figured that was what you were talking about. Wilkesboro
seems to be a sentimental favorite in stock car racing. Didn't start
sim racing until N4 but would also like to try that track out.
BTW, if you ever watch ESPN classic on Saturday mornings when they run
old NASCAR races you would get the impression the Wilkesboro was the
ONLY track NASCAR ever raced at. Then again if you watch classic
NASCAR on the speed channel you would think Daytona was the only
track.
