I fired up the demo the other day and I realized i really want this game. I was wondering, are the replays in the full version as bad as in the demo? What I mean is there is no rewind or forward, and no control over "TV" cam, sometimes it just goes back to boring cockpit, which isnt what i want to see in a replay. Did they change any of that for the full version?

You can't decide where you would like the cameras placed though and sometimes it does go back to the incar for a bit. You can watch it over from the beginning and save it but I don't remember a slider to bring you to a particular point quickly. Elrikk

Contrary to the TOTALLY inaccurate reply from elrikk,in the full game you can manipulate the replays as you wish once you have applied the official 1.0 patch. Despite other minor gripes the replay facilities are quite good, enjoy it mate. Andy
can you list some of the replay changes with the patch? "Andrew" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:agahj8$dfh$[email hidden]...

No you can't. Tell me how I can see a replay of a stage entirely from the vantage point of the spectators (ie. see my car from a distance at all times) without the game cutting to various on car angles. Also tell me how to get to a particular part of the replay without fast forwarding (or reversing) through the entire stage. In NR202 you can drag a slider right to where you want to go on the replay and also you can chose any of several camera angles to view a replay and stay in that one for as long as you like. This is not possible in RT. My description was accurate. Yours isn't. Elrikk

There are not any replay angles that keep your car continuously in view from a distance. There are a lot of views from on the car; the ones I mentioned plus some useless ones like beside the rear wheel etc. I have the patched version and I don't think any replay angles were added. Elrikk

I just read the whole thread and I can't see where anything I said I was inaccurate at all, much less "TOTALLY inaccurate " as you suggest in your 1st post. > Contrary to the TOTALLY inaccurate reply from elrikk,in the full game you > can manipulate the replays as you wish once you have applied the official > 1.0 patch. Andy Just trying to be helpful. Elrikk PS As for growing up, and I'm not positive about this, I am probably old enough to be your grandfather.
Yeah, but the music track is way cool :) -Larry "frederickson" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:FG2W8.57575$[email hidden]... > I fired up the demo the other day and I realized i really want this game.I > was wondering, are the replays in the full version as bad as in the demo? > What I mean is there is no rewind or forward, and no control over "TV"cam, > sometimes it just goes back to boring cockpit, which isnt what i want tosee > in a replay.
