First of all I not very hardware savvy, so hopefully someone who is can answer what I hope are straigh forward questons. First the system info as of now...Athlon 950...Gforce 2 w/64mb ram...512 regular ram...Aopen sound card...Win2k Pro...(ask if you need more info..).. I am planning to add/change from regualr CDrom drive to a burner...from going back and looking at old posts I see some questions...apparently some drives have trouble with copy protection...the recomendation seems to be to get a Toshiba? Should I just add the burner or replace the current drive with the burner? Any help is appreciated...........thanks.............. **** "Here we are on a planet moving and spinning though space at 500 miles per second...and look...my beer stays right there in the glass! Can't really tell you which burners are best at handling copy protection, but regarding your other question: I would add a burner to the system rather than replace your existing drive, if you have the room in your box. It's easy to do, and leaves you with the option af a 2nd drive, if one doesn't like a particular copy protection scheme. In addition, it's a lot more convenient to burn copies when you have 2 drives. FWIW - if you're talking about N4 and N2002 with regard to not being able to read copy protection schemes, my burner is a Yamaha, and it had no problem with either title..... TlgtrProd wrote:
