It's not World Sports Cars as we know it, wich is Racing Legends now. The West Racing simulator. It's Total Immersion Racing, a completely different title that has nothing to do with WSC/RL. /Borchers "hawk0388" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Regardless, I think those screenshots look really nice. I'm really looking forward to the release WL which I feel is going to happen. I will more than likely buy the bata, demo whatever its called granted the price is in my range, but the pics on that web site look similar to the past pics I've seen of WSC. Just my opinion. After all, Empire owns the code remember. Besides since when has Empire been a developer? I thought they were just a publisher. Dave Karsten Borchers wrote:

They OWN the WSC code because as publishers they funded the Wests during development. When the two parties couldn't agree on just what WSC should be, Empire stopped funding. Total Immersion Racing takes the previously granted and paid for licenses for WSC and applies them to a quickie built sports car sim. The cars that 'would' have been in WSC are in TIR as are the tracks, at least that is my impression. But WSC as we knew it...will most likely never see the light of day. dave henrie

Unless the tracks and car models happen to be surprisingly easy to convert? <g> Jan./ thought you might like a bit of conspiracy theory... ;-) =---

I read in a German gaming mag (take with a grain of salt) that WSC would now be released as Total Immersion Racing. Sounds like a name change and will probably be a simplified version of WSC, numbers sold being more important to Empire. -- l8er ronny Your mouse has moved. Windows must be restarted for the change to take effect. Reboot now?
Read this interview regarding TIR and WSC. Should clear things up. http://www.drivingitalia.com/articoli.php3?id=3113 Karsten Borchers "Ronald Stoehr" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Karsten Borchers schrieb: > > It's not World Sports Cars as we know it, wich is Racing Legends now.The > > West Racing simulator. > > It's Total Immersion Racing, a completely different title that hasnothing

I think the guys that developed this are the same people that did Commancge v Hokum so it may not ne too bad at all. Not hardcore, but I'm guessing not too shabby at all. Just a guess though.
