GPL in Linux (Wine)?

i know there was a thread about this before but i just can't find a post in which someone said that he knew a person who got GPL to run in Linux through Wine. i tried to run GPL with Wine and it complained about unsupported VxD vcpu.vxd. i also tried to run it with WineX 2.1 without any success. so, if anybody knows how to get it work on linux please respond. tia, b.

On the Transgaming web page, someone said that they got NR2K2 to run under WineX 2.1 in OpenGL, but that the sound was munged up. They didn't say in what way it was munged, so I have no infor beyond that. Hi Borut, ridcully (one of our gplrank admins) has been successful in getting GPL to work under wine, even the networking part. Write mail to [email hidden] and I'm sure he'll get in touch with you.
