I have the realistic sounds patch for SCGT, but the strange thing is that none of my Porsche 917 cars have engine sound. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for any help offered. Tsunami

So you have to FIND the proper sounds and then place them in the scgt\sounds\22k16bit folder. Look at the .veh file for the Porche 917. Use a text editor to read it. There should be about 4 lines that define the sound files used. You need to find the 3rd and 4th sound files that are used for the exterior sounds. Write the name of the file down. Chances are the files you need are at the same website you dloaded the 917 from. If not, start searching the major SCGT sites...I hear speedsims is down right now but that would be the first place to look. Good luck. dave henrie

Thanks for the help, I have had a look at the .veh files for all the 917s, and they refer to files that are not in the sounds folder.I got them all from speedsims, so I will just have to wait til it is back up (hope it isn't too long!^_^). Tsunami
