Is Europeon Air war d3d compatible...I seem to remember it was a 3dfx
only title...Anyone know for sure?

Yes it is Dave, though the briefings will be messed up, iirc, been awhile.
But the gameplay itself is ok.

Btw Dave, if you don't know it already, the game comes in 640/480 by
default. However, you can change it to whatever res you want, in it's .ini
file.

Great game! There's a ton of upgrade/add-on material avail from the flite
sim community.

apparently the goal is for it to be a completely extensible sim a'la
racing legends.

The user controlled
planes are the F-100, A-4, F-104, and F-4. Unfortunately it does not
currently allow the user to fly the russian planes, altho I believe
that is going to be added via a patch. The weapons technology is
modelled very well as I said before, guided missiles very rarely if
ever hit their targets so most dogfights end up being the typical low
altitude turning gun battles. A lot of fun, and developed by the guy
who did EAW.
