...I think those are the lyrics to a Yes song :) Actually, there is "author" software that uses a standard formula and mixing nouns, verbs, adjectives etc..to form what can be called "AI writing". There is the odd hit that makes sense but it's mostly drivel. -- Buzz Haze-Ottawa ON 87 5.0 LX Coupe http://members.rogers.com/buzzhaze

It would have to emulate strictly newbies. Just seed the driver data with "My car won't" +- (start, idle, shift, heat) +- "and it" (drifts, shakes, vibrates, grinds, smells, is too hot) +- "How can I go" (faster, cheaper, lower, louder). And end each thread with the original post saying "FOR SALE!" Man, I'm really tempted.

The alt.config regulars are getting their names and addresses forged to these things. Here: This link to the McAfee site explains the alt.config "virus". http://hq.mcafeeasap.com/dispTrojan.asp?virus_k=99220 B/

It's not unlike the random-phrase generator a friend of mine had a handful of years ago... I think it was a screensaver, and it would use its dictionary (plus any words or names you chose to add) to create sentences that were grammatically correct but logically nonsensical. If you noticed, it was cross-posted to half a dozen other auto NGs, so follow-ups may want to strip those out to keep our cross-chatter to a minimum. Best thing to do is to treat it like any other troll, and stroll. :) +-=Z=-+
