Matrox has made the Surround Gaming patch for NR2002 available for download. Note that this patch does not include any additional gameplay fixes and will not be officially supported by Papyrus or Sierra technical support (it is however fully compatible with the official 1.1.0.2 patch for multiplayer racing on Sierra.com). http://www.matrox.com/mga/3d_gaming/enhanced_games/nascar2k2.cfm Also note that while this patch is specifically intended for those users with Matrox's Parhelia video card and a triple-head display, it also adds generic support for non-4:3 aspect ratios such as 1280x1024 as well as practically any widescreen resolution that your particular video card may support (1600x900, for example). - Eric

Nice work! I'll take that new support with this: http://www.panoramtech.com/products/pv230.html :) - David Cook
David.... Those are nothing but 15" TFT LCD screens. Put three notebooks together.....would you really want to race on that....at 1024 max res? I wouldn't. TP "David Cook" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:NuWa9.3469$%[email hidden]...

15" TFT screens are roughly the same actual screensize as a 17" CRT monitor. I'd race with them Ash

I just like the fact that it's all bundled together. Looks pretty darn cool if you ask me. Bet they want mucho dinero for that setup though... - David

Have you seen fast moving graphics on an LCD display ? Unless it costs a fortune it ain't pretty Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--
Yup, most LCDs are not up to gaming standards yet, the blur once you start getting over 35FPS usually. "Goy Larsen" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Damn, glancing at the subject I read "Surround Sound patch for NR2002"! Wishful thinking, or is something planned to fix the sound? l8er ronny
Sierra's Papyrus Nascar 2002 has just come out with a NASCAR Racing 2002 Season widescreen patch. It works fine on 2 screens although it is an adjustment getting used to the center area between monitors. I'm using it at 2048x768x32 in OpenGL on a 4600. ftp://ftp.matrox.com/pub/mga/games/patches/2002/nr2002ws.exe Here's part of the read11 file.
