Thanks to who ever decide to do a 90 degree left turn at the start of today's RASCAR race. For the 1st time I managed to qualify near the front (5th) only to end up last. I also ended up with an undriveable car due to damage. Cheers mate Lee
I am pretty sure he did it on purpose too.... just to ensure that his outside front fow starting posistion would come to good use. -- ed_ "lee.ward1" <[email hidden]> skrev i melding news:Kcac9.2200$[email hidden]... > Thanks to who ever decide to do a 90 degree left turn at the start of > today's RASCAR race. Ian drifted high entering turn 3, and I snuck underneath him. As we were exiting turn 4, I had almost completely passed Ian (for the lead), and he bounced off the outside wall coming out of turn 4 and into me. About 5 laps after the restart, my motor blew. Ian, were you trying just a little harder than you should have been to set up for a chance to regain the spot? I recognize it as one of them racin deals, but man, my luck sucks when I'm running up front... -- ========================================================= Redneck Techno-Biker & "programming deity" http://www.paddedwall.org/john DeMONS/1 for Nascar Racing 3 & Nascar Legends http://www.paddedwall.org/demons DeMONS/2 for Nascar Racing 4 and 2002 Season (in development) http://www.paddedwall.org/demons2 RASCAR Roster http://www.paddedwall.org/rascar Barbarian Diecast Collector (490+ cars and counting) http://www.paddedwall.org/diecast If you want to send me email, go to the first URL shown above & click "Send Me Mail" in the contents frame. =========================================================
John, I'm really sorry. I just misjudged where I was on the track, touched the wall and bounced back off, unfortunately you were there :(. I tried to leave you room, which I managed, but then I was just too wide on the exit and clipped the wall. Totally my fault. I had conceded the position, you were obviously quicker than me at that point and I was just gonna follow you round for a while. Again, I'm sorry, I'd have hated to have been in your position, you did nothing wrong. -- Ian P <email invalid due to spam> "John Simmons" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Ian drifted high entering turn 3, and I snuck underneath him. Jan, I'm not saying I did get an incident, but how did you find out I didn't ? I can't see it listed anywhere so I really don't know. -- Ian P <email invalid due to spam> "Jan Verschueren" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:fhcc9.97339$[email hidden]... > "John Simmons" wrote... > > THAT BASTARD!!!
