+ADw-div class+AD0AIg-content+ACIAPg-The only thing wrong with the sound IMHO is that the engine revs don't +ADw-br+AD4- change enough (i.e. car is revving like crazy, but sounds to be about 2000 +ADw-br+AD4- rpm) +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-No really, I at first thought they were terrible, but then I sorted out the +ADw-br+AD4- decent speakers, plugged in the rear speakers (the game has 3D sound+ACEAIQ-), +ADw-br+AD4- whacked the bass and volume through the roof, and WAAAAAHHHHH+ACEAIQAh- now if the +ADw-br+AD4- engine revs just sounded to change more dramatically the sounds would truly +ADw-br+AD4- kick ass, you just need good speakers (no not computer speakers with a sub, +ADw-br+AD4- GOOD speakers :) ) +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-Later +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-Steve +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-p.s. Oh yeah, doppler effects would be nice too (sat at the side of the road +ADw-br+AD4- after a spin, cars don't change in pitch as they go by) +ADw-br+AD4-

A much +ADw-br+AD4- more complicated on-the-fly-physic rendering should be made ASAP+ACE- And also, +ADw-br+AD4- I want lumpy idle+ACEAIQ- One loop a la GPL can never do the trick IMO. Just +ADw-br+AD4- listen to a DFV Cosworth, you should have backfiring, and the snarl as you +ADw-br+AD4- get off the throttle. It shoud be made something like this IMO: +ADw-br+AD4- -separate sounds on/off throttle, say 3 of each set to work in certain RPM +ADw-br+AD4- ranges.
