3d wheels

first installed game....sorry sim...is GPL...added D3d patch..and Gpl 1.2
then remembered to install my wheel...doh.
everthing runs hunky dory 1600*1200 4 X FSAA.......im still in
shock......36fps solid...even at the start of a race!
but.... I dont have 3d wheels...i remember a couple of years ago there was a
patch to apply that gave all the cars different wheels.
where and what was it called......????
i'm sure 3d wheel will kill my frame rate but i miss them....

please help

wheels and.... oh... EVERYTHING! :)

Kevin,
I dnloaded from these sites and put them in the correct car folders
but then spmething locked my Gpl from letting into any races.. Do
you know why?? Fyi, I only tried the Honda & Lotus from Bruce
Johnson btw.. Also with all the 'GPLEA' upgrades I have done in
the past I never had any problems with addons.. No one!!

What sort of graphics card do you have? Some of these wheels use large
textures. If you have a 3dfx card you won't be able to use the hi-res
textures because they aren't supported.

Hi Phil,
Here are my system specs:
Intel P3 800mhz w/abitSA6R mobo, Asus GF2GTS'Pro 64mg ram &
I have Twin Voodoo2s in SLI, OS=Win98SE, PC133Dram 256megs,
SbLive sound, 3x30gig HDs.. {I use GF2GTS'Pro almost exclusively}
Does this give you enough info? I'd like to put the newer 3do'***pits
if I can. Also GPLEA_Fer67v11.EXE's worked perfectly! I wish they
made all the other chassis's too! This would make all my***pits aok!
The only other 2 are the Lotus & Brab as afair as I know?
Any help will be appreciated!! Tia.. Thom_j.
