Currently got a thrustmaster formula sprint - which i really like, the
steering is nicely weighted.

It hasnt got split axis pedals or a clutch though.  Im looking to upgrade,
but what do i go for? Is force feedback any good these days?  Used before
and it was just an annoying shake, rather than feedback......

Try the MSFF or the momo force nice force feedback and good pedals that
support split axis :)

See if you like any of this...

For the price, I really like...

On a side note...
I just called ACT-LABS because a spring snapped on my accelerator peddle (I
use it a lot). And also a friend of mine was a bit too rough on one of the
shifter paddles (the big oaf). So I needed one of those too. The guy there
said that I was a couple of months out of my warranty, but not to worry they
will send me the parts at no charge! Sweet!! :)
People are always quick to tell others about companies that***them off.
I wanted to share an experience with a company that has a happier ending ;)
Thanks Act Labs!

I vote for the ACT Labs Performance pedals and the wheel feels great but I
hope there is a better feedback wheel out there. Definitely go for feedback!
Anyone know if the act labs pedals can be used with the momo force feedback
wheel?

Do you mean as a separate controller or connected to the wheel?
I made an adapter for MOMO Force (red leather) and Act Labs pedals once, but
it didn't work. I don't have that pedal set myself so I'm unable to find out
why it didn't work. But I assume it has to do with different potmeter
ranges. However a customer made a cable for my MOMO wheel - MS Pedal
adapter, and was able to use a set of homemade pedals initially made for an
Act Labs wheel. :)

If you like the wheel but not the pedals, why not try if you can get ECCI's
excellent E3000 Trackstar pedals connected to your wheel. Maybe write them
an email and ask if they can do it. Their website is www.ecci.net and
they've very helpful. They're in the US, but will send the pedals over.

Yes, I use that combination -  pedals into separate USB port to wheel.
