I have a simple question...

Since there isn't anything "stock" in a stock car, why are they called
"Stock Car's"??

There are only a few stock parts left.  Coming to memory now is the
trunk hood and I believe the top of the car.

  But with the advent of the Roof Flaps I would think that the roof is no
longer "Stock".  Arent the lug nugs still stock? :-)
