Just my opinion but yes. It is well built and does not have the problems +ADw-br+AD4- that the Momo had. I had returned 5-6 Momos with the accelerator calibration +ADw-br+AD4- problem (never had one last long enough to get any other problems) before I +ADw-br+AD4- finally just broke down and got the G25. The shifter is ok for Nascar but +ADw-br+AD4- tough to use on road courses because the gate detenting is not what it could +ADw-br+AD4- be and is easy to miss gears. I use the paddle shifters for road courses +ADw-br+AD4- (GTR, GTL, Rfactor etc) and the shifter for the Nascar oval stuff. FFB can +ADw-br+AD4- be a little overwhealming and you will probably need to fine tune that to +ADw-br+AD4- the strength you want to have. The precision of the unit may help you a bit, +ADw-br+AD4- but in order to qualify better you still need to +ADw-br+AD4- practice-practice-practice...........:-) +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-Ed +ADw-br+AD4APA-/div+AD4-

I just got mine yesterday. I have had, for reference, an Original Red +ADw-br+AD4- Logi (cable driven), an Act Labs monstrosity (and later the Shifter), +ADw-br+AD4- and a black Logi MOMO. +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-Red Logi was my favorite (of those three), due to the sublime force +ADw-br+AD4- feedback. +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-I am +ACo-really+ACo- liking the dual motor FF in the G25. It is quieter and +ADw-br+AD4- smoother than either the A-L or the MOMO. There is some very subdued +ADw-br+AD4- 'notchiness', but nothing like in the A-L. I guess after the cable drive +ADw-br+AD4- of the Red, anything now is going to feel notchy to some degree. +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-So far the small number (2) of buttons on the face of the wheel has not +ADw-br+AD4- been a problem for me. +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-I was worried about the shifter being too loose, but I personally like +ADw-br+AD4- the way it shifts. (Running XP+ADs- no problems +ADw-br+AD4- here. :) +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-The first few minutes were frustrating+ADs- too many changes all at once. +ADw-br+AD4- 6-speed h-shifter and 900 deg of lock. :) I don't think I'll try that again +ADw-br+AD4- any time soon. 540 degrees felt pretty good after a few laps. The novelty of +ADw-br+AD4- handshifting and double clutching wore off pretty quick+ADs- I went back to the +ADw-br+AD4- shift paddles and haven't looked back. It sounds stupid, but by the second +ADw-br+AD4- session, I had taken 4 seconds off my best time at rFactor's Toban in a +ADw-br+AD4- Toyota Atlantic. Simply amazing, and almost effortlessly, too. I'm at a loss +ADw-br+AD4- to explain it. (Oh yeah. This might have something to do with it. Last +ADw-br+AD4- night, I installed RealFeel, and turned on invulnerability to really toss +ADw-br+AD4- around the M3. I took a few seconds off my lap record then too, but that was +ADw-br+AD4- sweaty work pushing the limits hard. I was still using the decade old Momo +ADw-br+AD4- then, with a busted shift paddle. So it's RealFeel that's helping. Or maybe +ADw-br+AD4- it's just invulnerability and a less inhibited driving style. Bounce off +ADw-br+AD4- walls +ACo-and+ACo- keep the hot tires. Real life should be so grand. :) +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-p+AD4-I wish I could say that I love the new toy, but I can see right away I won't +ADw-br+AD4- even notice it.
